Highlights
For this week we start off with Common Test for all Levels and our program is to have all test within one hour in the morning and normal classes after.
School had a Kasia Day (mufty day) in order to help with our ID cards for the students and the teachers for the Intercollege Sports.
Friday held all the excitements for this week.
Our Classroom Inspections Levels 1 to Level 6 and Form 7. Our honorable guests were Sr. 'Alakoka smsm. and Sr. Telesia smsm. the students leave after 3 periods in the morning, the the inspections and all the teachers were invited to follow the guests starting from St. Mary campus to St. John. campus.
Samsung 'Solve for tomorrow' 2025, this is a competition that involves students from variety of schools aged 14-17, the purpose of this competition is for the students to acknowledge a problem within their schools and find ways to solve them as the heading mentioned. Today was the top 4 schools in for the Finals, 'Api Fo'ou students from Level 4 joined the competition and with God's grace came 2nd in this competition. Summarizing this project 'our students came up with the problem of prolonged flooded water within our school after heavy rains, and their solution is to create a windmill that will pump this water through natural filters to be reuse in the bathrooms and watering the flower gardens during dry season.' 'Api Fo'ou Lalo Kasia team named, Sipiliano Tonata, Marist Ngauamo, Lavinia Helepiko, William Fa'aoso, Zayed Ali. Form 4 students; won 2nd Price: A TV & Cheque of USD $1200 for the school and Cheque of USD $400 + 4 Tablets for the students.
Prefects Retreat. Our school prefects joined together with other school's prefects at Tonga High Stadium for this program aiming to empower their working together as we are closing in on our Intercollege Sports days.
A warm welcome from our school represents by Ms. Gladys Leger and 3 of our prefects in presenting Sione Foundation's Team with garlands when they landed at Fua'amotu Airport on Saturday. They will be at school during the sport's week for update and completion of the canteen housing.
